Key Traits
Articulate
If there’s one word people use to describe me it’s articulate. Whether my medium is verbal, written, or physical prototyping I put thought and rigor into how I communicate so that others can quickly understand and confidently move towards action steps.
Strategic
I view the processes for stakeholder buy-in and long-term planning as a creative exercise. Building eminence for myself and my projects is a genuine extension of the creative work itself. Quickly and iteratively gaining executive cheerleaders, pitching and delivering on big ideas, and prototyping the future form my strategic approach.
Lateral Thinker
Trained in systems thinking, I don’t view processes as linear. There’s a constant zoom-in, zoom-out perspective that has to take place when addressing complex and wicked problems. Being formally trained in design uniquely positions me to solve problems in unconventional, effective ways.
Organized
From managing extensive call invites across several timezones to organizing and running team-wide meetings, I am able to lead the design of several projects through my ability to stay organized and focus. I practice short sprints of deep work throughout the day.
Reliable
If I commit, I execute. I consistently deliver valuable experiences, prototypes, presentations, and strategic plans to my peers and my leaders. I view ambiguity and changing circumstances as creative opportunities and do not let these conditions hinder my performance.
Imaginative
Working with various artistic and creative mediums throughout my life, I’ve always had an active imagination that I’ve made tangible through writing, art, and storytelling. I bring this imagination to my work in enterprise technology settings to create unique and impactful outcomes.
